The Navy Fall Protection program requirements are outlined in the Navy Safety and Occupational Health Program Manual, OPNAVINST 5100.23G, Chapter 13. The following guidance documents have been published to assist in clarifying the types of Fall Protection (FP) choices and the requirements associated with each control methodology. The Activity FP program manager, competent person or individual user of FP equipment must be adequately trained commensurate with their program responsibilities.
