NRD Denver -- Travel Risk Management

Because of the winter weather conditions in Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Kansas, there was a need for an ORM check when traversing the Rocky Mountains. Those traveling great distances were recently allowed overnight stays in hotels when they saw the need to stop driving and stay off of the highways. This contributed to NRD Denver having zero mishaps in the past year. More than 600 personnel have made trips in the snow and have made correct decisions after the command saw the need to make a change when it comes to sanity checking sailors on the road in inclement weather.
