CMDCM BRIAN ZAWODNIAK
Master Chief Zawodniak is a native of the area of Southern Illinois, known as St. Louis Metro East. He graduated from Freeburg Community High School in May of 1981 and entered the United States Navy on 09 September 1982. After four years of Naval Service he returned to the St. Louis area where he worked for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft as Production Supervisor on the F-15 Eagle wing line. Three years later on 09 September 1989, he affiliated with the United States Navy Reserve in the Training Administration of Reserve (TAR) Program.
In April 2010 Master Chief Zawodniak was assigned as Command Master Chief for Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Five Four home ported aboard NASJRB New Orleans, LA.
His sea duty assignments include, Quality Assurance and Maintenance Control Supervisor at HELANTSUBRON Eight-Five (HS-85) Alameda, CA; Maintenance Control Supervisor and Quality Assurance Chief at Patrol Squadron Nine One (VP-91) Moffett Field, CA; Leading Senior Chief Petty Officer, Aircraft Maintenance Manager and Quality Assurance Officer of Patrol Squadron Six Four (VP-64) Willow Grove, PA and Contract Officer Representative and Senior Enlisted Leader for CFLSW Executive Transport Detachment, Sigonella Sicily and Command Master Chief for Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Five Four.
Shore tours consist of staff duty, Commander Naval Air Reserve Force Depot Level Maintenance Liason at NAVAIR DEPOT Jacksonville, FL, Command Senior Chief Naval Reserve Center Decatur, IL and Senior Enlisted Leader for Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic, Site New Orleans.
His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (Five Awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (Five Awards), Good Conduct Medal (Seven Awards) and various unit and service awards.
He earned his Associates and Bachelors of Science Degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle University, Daytona, FL.
