Navy Individual Augmentee Hall of Honor Overview
The Navy Individual Augmentee (IA) Hall of Honor recognizes Sailors
who were on IA orders, served their country, and performed above and
beyond the call of duty during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF),
Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation New Dawn (OND). In addition,
it pays special tribute and honors our fallen IA Sailors who paid the
ultimate sacrifice for our country while serving during these overseas
contingency operations. Thank you for your service, sacrifice and may
you rest in peace. Visit the
In Memorium page to pay tribute to our fallen IA Sailors.

while engaged in direct combat with an enemy with exposure to enemy
hostilities and personal risk supporting overseas contingency
operations. Click here to

Meritorious Service Awards for IA Sailors
Meritorious Service Awards (MSA) presented to service members for
individual performance that exceeds that expected by virtue of grade and

support of overseas contingency operations. Click

How Were These Names Obtained?
Sailors identified in the Navy IA Hall of Honor are retrieved from
the official Navy Awards database (NDAWS), Defense.gov and Defense
Manpower Data Center. They account for IA Sailors supporting overseas
contingency operations from October 7, 2001 to September 30, 2011. If you know someone who served as an IA and is not listed here, complete the Navy IA Hall of Honor
inquiry form and we will correct the unintended omission. The Navy IA
Hall of Honor will be updated quarterly.
