Course is normally two days in length, scheduled as required, normally as part of the Strike Group Warfare Commanders Conference (WCC) or immediately before or after the WCC. The Strike Group MIWC or schedules officer should coordinate with the TACTRAGRULANT Director of Training to ensure all required Strike Group MIW team members attend. |

DESCRIPTION |
Provides training on specific responsibilities and procedures of the Strike Group MIW Commander. Training includes duties and responsibilities of the MIWC, systems overview, threat overview, introduction to MEDAL, and basic practical exercises. To maximize training value, advance copies of OPORD 6000 MIW / OPTASK MIW Supp (to include PPRs) as well as a draft template for a Strike Group strait transit should be submitted. |

Completion of MIW Core (NKO) and MIW Essentials (NKO) courses recommended. |
