DESCRIPTION |
The CTPM (formally GCCS-M FOTC Watch Officer) provides an overview of C4I architecture and connectivity related to Strike Group CTPM installations, staff tactical support capabilities and techniques, command and control utility of CTPM and related systems, multi-source information management and dissemination systems and other staff related aspects of CTPM. Course includes periods of instructor guided hands-on training in the operation of GCCS-M. Training includes display interpretation and control options, communication functions and the capabilities and use of Tactical Decision Aids, and Strike Group database coordination and management functions.. |

TGT AUDIENCE |
All staff personnel assigned primary or alternate warfare watch officer and senior (E7 - E9) watch supervisors. E6 personnel will be accepted when their primary duties directly support Strike Group Force Common Tactical Picture Manager. |

PREREQUISITES |
Naval Officers none. Enlisted graduates of the GCCS-M operators course or prior operational experience with NTCS-A, MCIS, or GCCS-M systems |
