PURPOSE
To provide the student with knowledge and skills to operate and maintain the EPLRS for AADS Radio Set; including developing Network Plans (ENP), and the tools involved to initialize and manage an EPLRS Network Deployment Plan (ENP), as utilized durin g Amphibious Expeditionary and Maneuver Warfare Operations.
SCOPE
This course trains personnel on the features of the EPLRS LOS (data only) Digital Radio set which is the EPLRS for AADS PLI and Communications backbone. Students will learn how to utilize the EPLRS Network Planner (ENP), including RS configuration d ata required to manage the network; EPLRS Net Manager (ENM) to develop and control the AADS deployment plan, including network configuration services and initialization. Students will become familiarized with system cryptographic processes, system t iming, Admin commands and IP routing required to manage, monitor and provide Command and Control (C2) capability during Amphibious Expeditionary and Maneuver Warfare Operations. Students will learn how to connect Crypto to the ENM platform, configur e unit, load key and generate a black key file. Maintenance personnel will learn and perform maintenance procedures, including troubleshooting at the O-level to the lowest replaceable unit (LRU).
