LT Christopher D. Bjornnes

Assistant Officer in Charge
 

  LT Bjornnes was commissioned in 2007 through the Officer Candidate School program in Pensacola, Florida.  After completing initial training at Corry Station Pensacola, Florida, he reported to Navy Information Operations Command, Hawaii in October 2007.  There he earned his 1810 Information Warfare Officer qualification and served as a Subsurface Direct Support Officer and the Subsurface Augmentation Officer for the Pacific.  Shortly after, he was selected to serve as the Pre-Overseas Movement Evaluator for the Pacific Area of Responsibility.

  In August 2010, he reported to Navy Information Operations Detachment Groton, Connecticut.  He serves as the Assistant Officer in Charge and a Pre-Overseas Movement Evaluator for the Atlantic and qualified Information Dominance Warfare.  LT Bjornnes holds various individul, unit, and campaign medals.
