Master Chief Crisafulli enlisted in the United States Navy in April 1994. Upon completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Orlando Florida, she reported to Naval Technical Training Center, Corry Station, Pensacola, Florida, where she completed Cryptologic Technician Maintenance “A” School.
Upon graduation, she reported for duty at Naval Security Group Activity Misawa in Misawa, Japan as a Wideband Acquisition Maintenance Technician. She then transferred as part of the Personnel Exchange Program to Canadian Forces Station Leitrim in Ottawa, Ontario, where she worked in the electronic maintenance department.
In October 1999, she returned to Pensacola, Florida for Fleet Cryptologic System Maintenance and Combat Direction Finding Maintenance “C” schools and received follow on orders to the USS ROOSEVELT (DDG-80) in Mayport, Florida. While there she earned her Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification.
Her follow on tour was to Naval Information Warfare Activity in Suitland Maryland where she was the Technical Control Leading Chief Petty Officer. During her time in Suitland, she completed her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science.
In November 2006, she completed Facilitator Training and Journeyman Instructor Training and transferred to the Center for Naval Leadership, Learning Site Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where she was an Enlisted Leadership Facilitator and Journeyman Instructor Training Instructor. While there, she earned her Master Training Specialist (MTS) qualification.
In January 2010, she was assigned to Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command Fleet Readiness Directorate, working as the Fleet Liaison for PMW 120, Battlespace Awareness and Information Operations. During this tour she earned her Enlisted Information Dominance Warfare Specialist qualification and completed her Bachelors of Science in Applied Science and Technology.
Her awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (5 awards) and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5 awards).
