NIOC Maryland honors the families of Sailors lost during the Vietnam War

Dickerson, one of six military personnel who crashed in the South China Sea Dec. 12, 1971 on its way to South Vietnam, are part of the unveiling of a new display in memory of the VRC-50 Detachment Sailors assigned to that flight on that fateful day.
    The family of Chief Petty Officer Donald E. Dickerson, one of six military personnel who crashed in the South China Sea Dec. 12, 1971 on its way to South Vietnam, visited Dickerson Hall, a Navy Information Operations Command Maryland barracks to be part of the unveiling of a new display in memory of the VRC-50 Detachment Sailors assigned to that flight on that fateful day.
