VOICE MAIL QUICK REFERENCE
LOGIN INITIAL SET UP
From your own telephone
- Press MESSAGE key (digital phones only)
- enter your passcode (the system recognizes your mail box number)
From outside or another telephone
- Press # sign
- dial your mailbox number (7 digit DSN extension)
When asked for your Password
- Enter your temporary password (system default)
TO RECORD YOUR GREETING
After logging in, from main menu
- Dial 8 - Changer Users Options
- Then Dial 1 - Change Mailbox Setup
- Press 1 for Greeting Change
- Press 3 to discard old greeting and rerecord, press the number of greeting you want to record, record at the tone.
- Press 7 to play the greeting, enter greeting number you wish to play.
TO CHANGE YOUR PASSCODE
After logging in, from main menu
- Dial 8 - Change Users Options
- Then Dial 1 - Change Mailbox Setup
- Press 2 for Passcode Change
- Press 3 to delete and enter new passcode (must be 6 digits)
- Enter new passcode again
CHANGE MAILBOX NAME
After logging in, from main menu
- Dial 8 - Change Users Options
- Then Dial 1 - Change Mailbox Setup
- Press 3 to change Mailbox Name
- Press 3 again to discard current name and record a new one.
- Press 7 to play Mainbox Name
PLAY VOICE MESSAGES
After logging in, from main menu
- Press 7 - To access Voice Messages
- Press 7 - To Play New Messages
- Press 8 - To Play Saved Messages
While Playing Message
- Press * - Rewind for 5 seconds
- Press # - To Forward 5 seconds
- Press 1 - To Pause
Options while playing or after hearing a message
- Press 7 - To replay message from beginning
- Press 8 - To hear the message date and time
- Press 9 - To exit without saving message
- Press 2 - To Reply or Forward message
- Press 3 - To Delete
- Press 4 - To Go Back to Previous
- Press 5 - To Save/Keep Message
- Press 6 - To Skip to Next Message
