LT Joseph Bracamonte
LT Bracamonte was born in San Jose, California. He received his high school diploma in June 1996 and enlisted in the United States Navy in January of 1997. Upon completion of basic training and Electronics Technician (ET) ‘A’ school in Great Lakes, Illinois in May 1998, he went on to complete ET ‘C’ school in Pensacola, Florida the following September.
His enlisted assignments include the USS Harry S Truman (CVN 75) in Norfolk, Virginia; the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) in San Diego, California; Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific (NCTAMS PAC) in Wahiawa, Hawaii; and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit One (EODMU 1) in San Diego, California. He attained the rank of Electronics Technician First Class Petty Officer.
LT Bracamonte received his commissioned following completion of Officers Candidate School in February of 2010. His officer assignments include the USS Bunker Hill (CG 52) and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC PAC).
In October 2014, LT Bracamonte reported as Assistant Officer-in-Charge of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Far East DET Diego Garcia.
His personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal (2), Navy Achievement Medal (4), Army Achievement Medal and various other service medals and unit awards. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology from Wayland Baptist University, and a Master of Science in Cyber Security and Information Assurance from National University.
