AND, BEGINNING THIS YEAR, COMMAND ASSESMENT RESULTS, THAT ARE DUE IN OCTOBER, WILL BE REVIEWED BY THE FORCE MANAGEMENT OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE, CHAIRED BY THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF THE NAVY FOR MANPOWER AND RESERVE AFFAIRS.
THESE EFFORTS HELP ENSURE THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY PROVIDES A WORKFORCE THAT REFLECTS THE NATION WE SERVE BY ELIMINATING BARRIERS TO EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY, AND SUPPORTING FULL EMPLOYMENT OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, TO INCLUDE OUR WOUNDED WARRIORS.
