Department of the Navy Leadership & Career Development Training, 22-23 October, Washington Navy Yard Catering & Conference Center

    Sponsored by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Civilian Human Resources (DASN(CHR)) and presented in partnership with the Executive Diversity Advisory Council (EDAC) and the African American SES Advisory Committee

GOAL

  • This training is a continuing series of regional, two-day training that is designed to build leadership skills of DON civilians and provide them with strategies to enhance their careers. The training is based on the various competencies underlying the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs), the Department of Defense (DoD) Civilian Leader Development Framework/Continuum and the DON Senior Executive Service (SES) Competency Model. These interactive and practical training sessions will be taught by DON leaders in the Senior Executive Service as well as Flag and General Officers. Executive coaching will also be offered during this training.

AUDIENCE:

  • The audience is DON civilians GS-14/15 (or equivalent) in the local Washington, DC, commuting area. You must receive permission from your supervisor to attend.
