As of April 14, 2011, the authorized departure of eligible family members (EFMs) from the island of Honshu, Japan has been lifted. Further, the Stop Movement order for eligible family members and non-emergency essential civilian employees to this location has been terminated.
As of May 13, 2011, the authorized voluntary departure from Manama, Bahrain, of EFMs and non-essential personnel has been lifted.
The Office of Civilian Human Resources has put together a series of informational materials to provide general guidance regarding the extent of benefits and allowances impacted people may be entitled to receive. The extent of the benefits is dependent on individual circumstances and may change based on the length of the authorized departure. Individuals should contact their servicing human resources offices for further guidance.
