The elective deferral (contribution) limit for employees who participate in the Thrift Savings Plan during 2013 will be $17,500. This is an increase from the 2012 contribution limit of $17,000.

The 2013 Thrift Savings Plan Catch-up Contribution limit for those age 50 and over remains unchanged at $5,500.
