FLTCIP CONTINUATION OF COVERAGE AFTER SEPARATION

Federal long term care insurance is completely portable. Your coverage continues when you separate from Federal service, as long as you pay your premiums. Premiums are the same for all purchasers of the same coverage at the same age. Premiums do not increase just because you separate from Federal service.

 ACTION REQUIRED WHEN YOU SEPARATE

  1. You must contact Long Term Care Partners to notify them that you are separating.
  2. You must make arrangements with Long Term Care Partners to pay premiums directly or by automatic debit from your bank account.
