The Commander is devoted to COMOPTEVFOR mission execution and efficiency. The single, empowered Operational Test authority designated by CNO, the Commander makes major decisions, establishes policy, and liaison with senior and subordinate commands from all branches of DOD regarding operational test issues. The Chief of Staff handles the day-to-day operations of the Force for the Commander and directs the Flag Staff in all support roles facilitating the Commander's mission execution.
