Master Chief Petty Officer Antonio Gomes de Abreu Neto was in Vitoria, Espirito Santo - Brazil.
He’s graduated in pedagogy, pos graduated in education and pos graduated in foreign trade and port management.
In 1981, he joined the apprentice sailors school.
In 1992, graduated sailors and embarked Frigate Niteroi.
In 1984, he was selected to attend the Communications Specialty Course at the Naval Communications School.
In 1985 was promoted to corporal and assigned to serve in Niteroi Class frigates.
From 1985 to 1988 was commissioned to the Frigate B.N.S “NITEROI” fulfilling functions as Communications Supervisor.
From 1988 to 1989 he was designated to School of Sergeants and promoted to Sergeant.
In 1989 he was selected to fulfill functions as Supervisor Inter-American Naval Telecommunications Network in Navy Radio Station in Brasilia.
From 1994 to 2003 he served onboard different “Niterói” Class Frigates.
In 2003 he was promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer, and designated to serve on the staff of the Command, Southern Naval Patrol Group, fulfilling functions as Instructor for Fire Fighting Course, in Charge of the Operations Section and as a Member of Operative and Administrative Inspecting Committee.
In 2006 he was designated to serve on the staff of the Command of 5th Naval District and assumed functions as Program Manager, being responsible for the maintenance of naval assets and Oil and Lubricants Distribution for Ships and Aircraft.
On august 2011 he assumed as Assistant Secretary of the Inter-American Naval Telecommunications Network, in Mayport, Florida
