CSL COMALAPA, EL SALVADOR


A Native of Pennsylvania, and a graduate of Penn State University, Lieutenant Commander Greaser was commissioned an Ensign upon completion of Officer Candidate School in June 2003.

His first fleet tour was on USS Detroit (AOE-4) in Earle, New Jersey.  He served as the Sales Officer and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and earned his Surface Warfare Supply Corp Officer (SWSCO) qualification.

In March 2005, he reported to the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) in Yokosuka, Japan as a Disbursing Officer.  In addition to those duties he served as Aviation Depot Level Repair (AVDLR) Officer, QA Officer, and Deployment Advance Detachment Officer.

In April 2007, he reported to COMACCLOGWING in Point Mugu, California as Aviation Supply Officer.  While on station, he earned his Naval Aviation Supply Officer (NASO) qualification.  During his time at COMACCLOGWING he also served a 8 month Individual Augment to Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) in Djibouti, Africa were he was assigned as the Country Desk Officer to provide logistics support for all down range sites.

In May 2010, he reported to USS Comstock (LSD-45) in San Diego, California.  He served as the Supply Officer and deployed with the Boxer ARG during their 2011 Western Pacific Deployment.

In January 2013, he reported to Cooperative Security Location (CSL) Comalapa, El Salvador as Executive Officer.

Lieutenant Commander Greaser has earned The Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with 2 gold stars, Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal and various unit and theatre awards and citations.
