Navy

  • 24 Aug 2014: (Pensacola, FL) O-1 died after he fell from a second story window at a private residence.
  • 18 Jun 2014: (Sasebo, Japan) E-4 fell from barracks room window.
  • 08 Jun 2014: (Maunalua Bay, HI) E-4 died while diving into the bay.
  • 01 Jun 2014: (Reno, NV)  E-5 died on 03 Jun from injuries after falling from a parking garage.
  • 31 May 2014: (Coupeville, WA) E-3 and E-5 died while kayaking.
  • 05 Apr 2014: (Honolulu, HI) E-4 drowned while swimming.
  • 07 Mar 2014: (Tamuning, Guam) E-3 died after falling from a second story balcony.
  • 01 Mar 2014: (Nagano, Japan) E-4 died from a head injury received in a snowboarding mishap.
  • 05 Jan 2014: (Agat Bay, Guam) E-3 died from an apparent drowning while spear fishing.  

Marine

  • 05 Jul 2014: (Lake Havasu City, AZ) E-3 died in a personal watercraft mishap.

  • 14 Jun 2014: (Princeton, WV) E-3 died in an ATV mishap while on a camping trip.

  • 23 May 2014: (Chester, SC) O-2 died in a private aircraft crash.

  • 02 Mar 2014: (Twentynine Palms, CA) E-4 died of an accidental gunshot wound at a private residence.

  • 01 Jan 2014: (Madera, CA) E-3 was found unresponsive by family members and could not be resuscitated.

  • 01 Jan 2014: (Hayward, WI) E-3 was found deceased outside in subfreezing temperatures.

  • 14 Dec 2013: (Melbourne, Australia) E-7 died in a recreational sky diving mishap.

  • 17 Nov 2013: (Duplin County, NC) O-4 was found deceased inside his downed private plane.

  • 14 Nov 2013: (Okinawa, Japan) E-3 died from a fall at an apartment complex.
