“Hurts One...Affects All. Prevention of Sexual Assault is Everyone's Duty.”
The goal of Navy Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April 2012) is to reduce sexual assaults through direct, sustained engagement of all hands at all levels. Sexual assault prevention is everyone’s duty! This website will be updated throughout the month of April, so please check back often.
Sexual assault prevention is Commanding Officer's business. During the month of April, units must conduct a minimum stand down of two hours of sexual assault awareness. You or your chosen facilitator should use the resources provided on this website to ensure the message is heard loud and clear: we will not tolerate sexual assault.
