Personal Readiness Summits
Personal Readiness Summits and NADAP Seminars are conducted through out the year at various locations. They provide provide attendees a basic overview of these programs and outlines resources for dealing with these issues in a timely manner.
PR Summits (Personal Readiness Summits) include the following four program areas that can negatively impact the daily lives of Sailors and their families:
- Physical Readiness Program
- Navy Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention (NADAP)
- Sexual Assault Prevention Response (SAPR)
- Family Advocacy Program (FAP)
NADAP Summits focus on Navy’s Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and reducing alcohol related incidents, DUI/DWIs, underage drinking and positive urinalyses. Seminar attendees interface with NADAP's Program Management Team to discuss program policies, procedures, and listen to Fleet concerns/challenges. Attendees are provided tools and “Best Practices” they can incorporate into their ongoing prevention programs, ultimately enhancing operational readiness. Attendees will come away with a better comprehension of Navy's substance abuse prevention programs and a clearer understanding of how to make the programs work for them at their commands.
