Navy Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention (NADAP) Program Education and Training

The below listed courses are taught by the Center for Personal & Professional Development (CPPD) and can be accessed by login on to Navy Knowledge Online  or  You can login using your CAC login or use your NKO user name and password.


Once you have logged in select the Personal Development yellow tab from the main menu. The next screen will comes up and all the courses listed below will be listed on the left hand side of your screen. 

Select the course you are interested in. The next screen will appear and show you the course name, (CIN) and other information you will need to know.  Also it will provide you information on how to get a quota for that course.

ADAMS for Facilitators Course Identification Number (CIN) S-501-0110
Who can attend (Mandatory): E-6 and above or O-3 and above

ADAMS for Leaders Course Identification Number (CIN) S-501-0130
Who can attend (Mandatory): COs, OICs, XOs, CMCs, COBs.
                          (Suggested): Other senior personnel as required

ADAMS for Supervisors Course Identification Number (CIN) S-501-0120
Who can attend (Mandatory): E5 and above personnel in first-line supervisory
                          (Suggested): Department of the Navy civilians who supervise
                                                    military personnel.

DAPA Course Identification Number (CIN) S-501-0100
Who can attend (Mandatory): E7 and above (Primary DAPA)
                          (Suggested): E5 and above (Asst. DAPA)

Navy and Marine Corps Prevention Specialist Course Identification Number (CIN) S-501-0165
Who can attend (Mandatory) DAPAs, ADCOs, DDRCs and other prevention

Alcohol Aware Course Identification Number (CIN) S-501-0160
Who can attend (Mandatory):  All Navy personnel shall complete with in 2yrs of 
                                                recruit training or other accession point entry.

Urinalysis Program Coordinator (UPC) Course Identification Number (CIN) CPD-UPC-011-1.1.  This course is now available online at Navy Knowledge Online. Once you are logged in to NKO select the Learning yellow tab from the main menu. The next screen select Click here to Access Navy E-Learning Anytime Anywhere.  The next screen select Advanced Search on the left hand side of your screen. In the Catalog Title: type in Urinalysis Program Coordinator and hit search. Select the course and hit Enroll.

Who can attend (Mandatory): E7 and above

PREVENT Course Identification Number (CIN) S-501-0150
A facilitated personal development class targeted towards 18-25 year old Sailors, PREVENT is a three-day course designed to provide the necessary strategies and skills to make this at-risk group mission ready, personally responsible, contributing members of the Navy.

Who can attend (Suggested): 18-25 year old sailors
