THE FISCAL YEAR TO DATE NUMBERS ARE ZONE A: 62.5 PERCENT (DOWN 10.9 POINTS FROM THIS SAME PERIOD LAST YEAR), ZONE B: 73.9 PERCENT (DOWN 5.1 POINTS), AND ZONE C: 88.8 PERCENT (DOWN 0.8 POINTS). 3. GENERAL DETAIL SAILOR ACCESSIONS DECREASE. WITH FLEET MANNING AT THE E1 TO E3 LEVEL AT OVER 100 PERCENT -- AND IN KEEPING WITH CNO'S DESIRE TO CONTINUE TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF GENDETS ON ACTIVE DUTY -- WE HAVE CUT RECRUITING COMMAND'S GENDET ACCESSION GOAL FOR THIS YEAR BY ANOTHER 750. THERE WILL BE NO CHANGE TO SCHOOL SEATS AS A RESULT OF THIS FORCE-SHAPING REDUCTION. 4. THE SEXUAL ASSAULT VICTIM INTERVENTION (SAVI) WEBSITE IS NOW OPERATIONAL. PACKED WITH USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT NAVY POLICY, REPORTING REQUIREMENTS AND PROGRAM UPDATES, THE SITE HAS ALREADY PROVEN A VALUABLE TOOL FOR COMMANDING OFFICERS AND LOCAL SAVI PROGRAM MANAGERS. THE DIVERSITY VISIONING GROUP MADE SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS LAST MONTH TOWARD CRAFTING MEASURES OF EFFECTIVENESS IN ALL FOUR IMPLEMENTATION AREAS: ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT, ACCESSIONS, AND COMMUNICATIONS. THESE INCLUDE: IMPROVING DIVERSITY RECRUITING AND RETENTION, MONITORING DIVERSITY ADVANCEMENT AND PROGRAM SELECTION RATES, AND CONDUCTING FLEET SURVEYS TO ASSESS THE DEGREE TO WHICH AWARENESS IS IMPROVING. THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NEW DIVERSITY DIRECTORATE AT THE CHIEF OF NAVAL PERSONNEL IS ALSO UNDERWAY. 6. ITEMPO REPORTING REQUIREMENTS WERE MODIFIED TO INCLUDE THE GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION FOR EVERY SAILOR'S DEPLOYMENT IN SUPPORT OF MILITARY MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE ACTIVITY DURING MAJOR OPERATIONS. ACCORDINGLY, ITEMPO MANAGERS MUST NOW IDENTIFY THE "DUTY UIC" FOR EACH ITEMPO EVENT. THE DUTY UIC IS THE UNIT AT/IN WHICH A SAILOR IS PERFORMING DUTY WHILE IN A DEPLOYED STATUS. WE HAVE TRIED TO MAKE THIS ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT AS CONVENIENT AS POSSIBLE.
