RESERVISTS MAY ALSO APPLY FOR TRIP, BUT DEOMI WILL NOT PAY SALARY, ONLY PER DIEM AND TRANSPORTATION. TRIP ASSIGNMENTS FOR CONUS SELECTEES ARE FUNDED BY DEOMI FOR 30 DAYS, WITH GOVERNMENT QUARTERS AND MESSING FACILITIES PROVIDED ON-SITE AT PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, FLORIDA. PERSONNEL OVERSEAS MAY APPLY; HOWEVER, IF SELECTED, TRANSPORTATION TO THE CONTINENTAL U.S. WILL BE ARRANGED BY THE SELECTEE'S PARENT COMMAND. SIX TRIP INTERNS WILL BE SELECTED FROM ALL OF DOD, MAKING THE SELECTION PROCESS EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE. 2. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR NOMINATION INCLUDE: A. BE A NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICER (E6 OR ABOVE), WARRANT OFFICER, OFFICER (O3 OR ABOVE), OR DON CIVILIAN (GS7 OR ABOVE). B. HAVE AN OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE HISTORY. C.
