THIS APPLIES TO PERSONNEL WHO MEET ALL SRB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR FY-02 AND WERE/ARE IN THE COMBAT ZONE OR QUALIFIED HAZARDOUS DUTY AREA (REF C) DURING SEPTEMBER 2001, REGARDLESS OF THEIR SCHEDULED DEPARTURE FROM THE COMBAT ZONE/HAZARDOUS DUTY AREA. ADDITIONALLY, PERSONNEL WHO MEET ALL SRB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR FY-02 AND WHOSE EAOS IS IN THE 1ST QUARTER OF FY-02 ARE ALSO ELIGIBLE TO REENLIST IN FY-01, REGARDLESS OF LOCATION. 2. ALL REQUESTS THAT MEET SRB ELIGIBILITY IN FY-02 (AND REQUIREMENTS OF PARA 1) MAY BE SUBMITTED TO PERS-815. THEY WILL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED FOR PAYMENT IN FY-01. 3. TIMELINESS IS CRITICAL. A VALID PRECERT MUST BE SUBMITTED TO PERS-815 AND THE REENLISTMENT MUST OCCUR PRIOR TO 2400, 30 SEP 01. 4.
