IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING THE LAW ENFORCEMENT MISSION, PERSONNEL ASSIGNED TO FORCE PROTECTION UNITS CAN EXPECT TO CONDUCT ENTRY/ ACCESS CONTROL; SUPPORT CRISIS RESPONSE TEAMS, CONDUCT PHYSICAL SECURITY AND VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENTS, AND BE ASSIGNED TO FLIGHT LINE, PIER, HARBOR AND SPECIAL SECURITY MISSIONS. FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF "A" SCHOOL, (AT SAN ANTONIO TX) NEWLY RECRUITED JUNIOR SECURITY PERSONNEL COMPLETE COMMAND MANAGED PROFICIENCY QUALIFICATION COURSES TO DEVELOP PROFICIENCY FOR POSITIONS WITHIN COMMAND SECURITY DEPARTMENTS. IN GENERAL, THESE NEW PERSONNEL ASSIGNED TO BASES WILL INITIALLY BE ASSIGNED TO FIXED POSTS AND PERFORM ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES (LIKE THEIR USMC/USA/USAF COUNTERPARTS). 3.
