ASSISTING THE WORK FORCE IN OVERCOMING DISCRIMINATION AND ELIMINATING BARRIERS THAT HINDER EQUAL OPPORTUNITY FOR APAS AND OTHER MINORITIES IN ARMED FORCES. C. PROMOTING THE TENETS OF CIVILIAN/HUMAN RIGHTS, RACE RELATIONS, EQUAL OPPORTUNITY, AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, HUMAN RELATIONS, AND PUBLIC SERVICE PROGRAMS WITHIN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. D. ALLOWING FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES TO PARTICIPATE IN PROGRAM ACTIVITIES THAT WILL BENEFIT CAREER DEVELOPMENT OF APAS. E. CREATING JOB OR TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES THAT WILL SUPPORT AND CONTRIBUTE TO ADVANCEMENT OF ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICANS IN EMPLOYMENT WITH FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. F. SERVICING ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICANS IN THE COMMUNITY AND IN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BY REACHING OUT AND SETTING AN EXAMPLE FOR OTHERS TO FOLLOW. H. ENCOURAGING LEADERS TO PROMOTE EEO PROGRAM ACTIVITIES THAT ADVOCATE EQUAL OPPORTUNITY FOR ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICANS AND MEMBERS OF THE MILITARY AND CIVILIAN POPULATION.
