Washington, DC (NNS) -- "Our Navy leaders in Millington have been updating me continuously on the very serious flooding that began at the Naval Support Activity there yesterday. I'm very pleased with the swift response of the command team and our Sailors and their families in this extraordinary circumstance. Their preparedness and quick reaction ensured everyone's safety. We are assessing the damage to our housing and facilities, and determining the recovery plan.

The entire Navy team will support our shipmates in Millington as they recover in the days ahead."
