BPM/NPC Mentor Certification Program
The Deputy Commander, Navy Personnel Command strongly supports a mentoring culture. Consequently, BPM/NAVPERSCOM continues to support a mentoring culture and ensure mentoring opportunities are available to its workforce through the command’s Mentor Certification Program.
The BPM/NAVPERSCOM Mentor Certification Program and course provides a standardized framework, toolset of forms and references, access to a network of command certified mentors, guidance, and support in the development of new mentoring partnerships and programs throughout BPM/NAVPERSCOM and the fleet.
The Mentor's Creed
Help as many people as possible reach their own personal level of success. Do not tolerate any disrespect and exemplify that by not being disrespectful to others. Only see what is done, not what is said. Plan carefully and execute effectively. Give advice that has real value and thought. Have no room in their lives for anyone trying to demean the goals and dreams of others. Give help without any conditions attached. Do not go out and seek people to give advice to, people seek them out. Do not need to criticize or depend on anyone because they make it happen for themselves. Do not look for a solution outside of themselves, they are the solution. They are the alphas of their own reality…
