MILITARY DRIVERS UNDER 26 YEARS OLD

OPNAVINST 5100.12J, Navy Traffic Safety Program states that all military personnel under the age of 26 must receive four hours of traffic safety training within 12 months of entering the naval service.  Additionally, all military personnel under the age of 26 must receive two hours of annual refresher traffic safety training.

This course can be found in ESAMS.  Course #1694  Military Under 26-Operator.

 

 

MILITARY MOTORCYCLE RIDERS

OPNAVINST 5100.12J requires all military personnel who operate a motorcycle on/off base to attend a COMNAVSAFECEN approved Motorcycle Rider Safety course.  Training required by this instruction shall be provided to sailors and members of other services at no cost and they will not be charged leave.
