BUPERS-073 executes measures that protect and defend information and information systems by ensuring their availability, integrity, authentication, confidentially, and non-repudiation.

Services Provided to the Customer:

• Ensure IA, security and privacy policies and guidelines are fully implemented throughout BUPERS
• Coordinate the development of accurate and timely IA, security and privacy documentation consistent with DOD and DON policy
• Provide Information Assurance Situational Awareness for all BUPERS employees
• Facilitate the creation & sustainment of an empowered & certified BUPERS IA Workforce
• Ensure compliance with Federal Information Systems Management Act of 2002
