CHNAVPERS Inspector General (IG)

The IG advises and assists the Chief of Naval Personnel (CNP) in all inspector general matters.  The IG provides direct support to CNP and DCNP by administering Inspection, Investigation, Audit Liaison, and Managers' Internal Control functions and programs.  We act as the focal point for action on inspections, hotline investigations, audit reports, internal controls, command evaluations, and related matters.  Our office ensures coordination on such matters with oversight agencies from DON, DoD, and other federal agencies, and within and between CNP, COMNAVPERSCOM, COMNAVCRUITCOM, NAVMAC, and other subordinate activities.
