Active Duty (MPN) Reserve Recall Guidance
Active Duty Indefinite/Definite Reserve Recalls have been severely limited, with three indefinite and 2 definite selected in FY11 and one indefinite selected in FY12, FY13 is still TBD. The officers selected on these recent boards have all been Seabee Combat Warfare Qualified and held Professional Registration.
Reserve officers may apply for Indefinite/Definite Reserve Recall by submitting a letter with supporting documentation and endorsements per Active Duty (MPN) Reserve Recall application guidance and procedures – click on the link to the right.
Indefinite/ Definite Reserve Recall program management responsibility has been realigned to PERS-92. Applications are required to be submitted to Commander, Navy Personnel Command (PERS-921) vice Bureau of Naval Personnel THREE (BUPERS-3). All CEC Reserve Recall applications must be submitted via their Commanding Officer, Navy Reserve Unit assigned.
