***Updated: 15 September 2014***
There have been changes to Year Group Limitations Matrix (Enclosure 3) that affect the VFA community
All information and links have been updated to show the requirements for the Fall FY15 FTS Transfer/Redesignation Board. NAVADMIN 14188 has been released with a link on the right.
There has been a policy change since the release of the Fall FY15 Eligibility Criteria document. Active Component Aviators (1310/1320) that are 1xFOS for promotion to LCDR and are currently receiving an Aviation Career Continuation Pay (ACCP) bonus which obligates them beyond October 2015 are eligible to apply for redesignation to FTS. This policy supersedes the 12 month limit stated in the Eligibility Criteria document and contained in NAVADMIN 14188.
Those officers who are under an ACCP contract, are selected for redesignation, and accept the redesignation will have their ACCP contract terminated, all future payments will be cancelled, and any further ACCP service obligation will be rescinded. Recoupment of ACCP payments already received will not be necessary. There is no waiver required and this does not count as a waiver for eligibility.
This policy change does not negate any other eligibility requirement or out quota constraints in the Year Group Limitations Matrix.
The Spring FY14 FTS Transfer/Redesignation Board (#325) has adjourned and the results are posted in the links on the right side of this web page.
