The Officer Community Management (OCM) Division, BUPERS-31, works in support of CNO, N1, and Navy Enterprises to provide accession plans, promotion plans, retention plans, lateral transfer plans, force shaping plans, incentive plans, force modeling and forecasting, community health assessments, strategic-level options, and other analyses that are timely, data-driven, and accurate. Officer Community Managers support all active component and reserve component (including Full-Time Support (FTS)) officer communities.
Unrestricted Line - Aviation, Surface Warfare, Submarine / Nuclear, Naval Special Warfare and Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
Restricted Line - Aerospace Engineering Duty, Aviation Maintenance Duty, Cyber Warfare Engineering, Engineering Duty, Foreign Area, Human Resources, Information Professional, Information Warfare, Intelligence, Public Affairs, Oceanography and Permanent Military Professor.
Staff Corps - Chaplain, Civil Engineer, Dental, Judge Advocate General, Medical, Medical Service, Nurse and Supply Corps.
Reserve - Full Time Support and Selected Reservists
Limited Duty Officer and Chief Warrant Officer - Manages all active component Limited Duty Officers and Chief Warrant Officers.
