The Navy continues to experience excellent retention and outstanding recruiting success, increasing the number and quality of sailors provided to the fleet. To reduce the requirement of non-voluntary force shaping measures and allow greater opportunity for sailors desiring to stay navy the enlisted early transition program will authorize early separations for eligible sailors in competitive ratings.
EETP is a quota controlled voluntary separation program. Available quotas are identified by rating, paygrade, year group and NEC. Quotas will be updated on a regular basis to reflect opportunity. Early separation will be granted on a first come first serve basis until all quotas have been exhausted.
Requests for Early Separation from qualified applicants shall be submitted via NAVPERS 1306/7 (Enlisted Personnel Action Request) along with a signed NAVPERS 1070/613 (Administrative Remarks) to BUPERS-32 via the service members Commanding Officer. Request must indicate desired separation date. Submit applications via encrypted email to email@example.com. Any incomplete applications will be returned without action and require resubmission. Approved NAVPERS 1306/7 will be returned to the command representative that submitted the application.
