CANVASSER RECRUITERS

The Canvasser Recruiter (CANREC) Program is designed primarily as a temporary recall program for production recruiters to execute the Navy Reserve recruiting mission.

Personnel eligible to apply for the CANREC program are:  Active Duty Navy, IRR Navy and Drilling Reserve Navy.

Initial orders are for two years.  CANRECs can be continued for an additional 12, 24 or 36 months, based on individual performance and command endorsement.

An additional means of continuing on active duty is the Navy Reserve Career Recruiting Force.

NAVY RESERVE CAREER RECRUITING FORCE

The Navy Reserve Career Recruiting Force (NRCRF) is a cadre of proven enlisted Navy Reserve production recruiters and recruiting management personnel who provide stability, standardization and leadership for field production recruiters and recruiting management personnel.

NRCRF program is comprised of enlisted members who laterally convert from the CANREC Program to the Full Time Support (FTS) program.  They plan, control and execute the Navy Reserve Recruiting Program.  CANREC personnel selected for NRCRF will be assigned to production recruiter and recruiting management billets within Navy Recruiting Command.
