ADSW Guidance for Reservists

Navy Personnel Command > Career Info > Augmentation > 462 ADSW > ADSW Guidance for Reservists
Reservists must apply for an ADSW assignment with the command POC listed in the ADSW opportunity posting; they do not apply for ADSW through PERS-462.  Reservists must meet eligibility criteria for ADSW as outlined in OPNAVINST 1001.20C to be considered for the assignment.  After the supported command selects a reservist to fill the requirement, ADSW orders will be issued by PERS-462 if the reservist meets eligibility criteria.  Reservists can print their orders from the Navy Marine Corps Mobilization Processing System (NMCMPS) link in BUPERS Online (BOL).

---ADSW OPPORTUNITIES---

Immediately upon receiving orders, reservists should contact their Navy Reserve Activity (NRA) in order to complete the ADSW checklist (enclosure (3) of OPNAVINST 1001.20C). Members whose orders direct them to the Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center (ECRC) will proceed to Norfolk for processing.  Members who are not directed to ECRC on their orders will proceed directly to their ultimate duty station.  Reservists should utilize their command OSOs / Chain of Command to the maximum extent possible.
