Master Chief Pulvino, a native of Seattle, Washington, enlisted in the United States Navy in July 1997.ter Chief Pulvino, a native of Seattle, Washington, enlisted in the United States Navy in July 1997.  Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, he reported to Naval Training Center, Great Lakes where he completed Radioman “A” school.
 
Upon graduation, he reported for duty with Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station, Guam.  His follow on fleet assignments were USS VINCENNES (CG-49), COMSEVENTHFLT, USS BLUE RIDGE (LCC-19), and the USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN-73), all forward deployed out of Yokosuka, Japan.  In addition, Master Chief Pulvino completed a shore assignment at Defense Information Systems Agency Pacific, Wheeler AAF, Hawaii.
 
Master Chief Pulvino was selected for the Command Senior Chief program in 2013.  He served as the Command Senior Chief and Command Master Chief onboard the USS PATRIOT (MCM-7), forward deployed out of Sasebo, Japan.  CMDCM Pulvino reported as the Command Master Chief of VAW-125 Tigertails in 2016.
 
Master Chief Pulvino holds an Associate degree in Information Technology from Wayland Baptist University.  Additionally, Master Chief Pulvino is a distinguished graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 176 and the Command Leadership School Class 123.  He has earned his Enlisted Aviation Warfare, Information Dominance Warfare, and Surface Warfare designations.
 
His decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendations Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2 awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
