CMC Gregory M. Williams
Command Master Chief Williams is originally from Detroit, MI and graduated high school from El Cerrito High in El Cerrito, CA in 1989. He enlisted in the Navy through the Delayed Entry Program in 1988. Following the completion of Basic Training in San Diego, he attended Aviation Ordnanceman “A” school in Millington, Tennessee.
Command Master Chief Williams’ sea duty assignments include VF-24 (RENAGADES) NAS Miramar, VF-211 (CHECKMATES) NAS Oceana, Virginia Beach, VA, USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN-71) where he was promoted to Chief Petty Officer and deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), USS HARRY S TRUMAN (CVN-75) where he served as Weapons Department LCPO and was selected for the NAVAIRFOR Navy/Marine Association Leadership Award.

Command Master Chief Williams was selected to the Command Master Chief program in 2014 and reported as the CMDCM to HSM-77 (SABERHAWKS) in Atsugi, Japan December 2014. He is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 163, Gold Team) and the CMC/COB Capstone Course (Class 137).
