Dwayne A. Squire
Chief Squires is a native of Anaheim, CA. He enlisted in the Navy September 18th 1995 and attended Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL with follow-on training at the Naval Aviation Technical Training Center (NATTC), Millington, TN.
Upon Completion of Aviation Ordnance "A" School, he selected orders and reported to USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) for his first sea tour assignment in March, 1996. During his tour on the Kitty Hawk, he deployed twice in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, and FOAL EAGLE.
In April of 2000, Chief Squires was selected for orders to Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 101 (VMFAT-101) at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. It was during this assignment that he was promoted to First Class Petty Officer, June 2002.
Chief Squires’ third assignment was on the USS Boxer (LHD-4) where he was deployed three times in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM II, TALISMAN SABER, and Exercise MALABAR. Upon selection and advancement to Chief Petty Officer, September, 2007, he transferred to Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Lemoore, CA in November, 2007.
