We are delighted that you have chosen to continue your faithful service to the Navy and bring your knowledge and experience aboard Team Quicksand. CVW-17 proudly serves at the “tip of the spear” in support of 8 air squadrons in carrying out our country’s mission to lead the world in the continued fight in the Global War on Terrorism onboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN70). We hope that your tour here at CVW-17 will be both demanding and exhilarating.

Arriving by Car
Naval Air Station Lemoore is located on Highway 198, 19 miles East of Interstate 5 or 30 moles West of Highway 99. Both highways provide easy access to the air station.
Arriving by Plane
If you are reporting to Naval Air Station Lemoore, you must purchase an airline ticket destined for Fresno Internation Airport. From the air terminal take CA-180 West to CA-41 South for about 30 miles then head West on CA-198 for 5 miles.
