FORCM (AW) Kenneth J. Daniels
Force Master Chief, Naval Air Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet
Master Chief Daniels enlisted in January of 1984, after graduating high school. He completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois. Upon Completion, he reported to HS-1 FRAMP and qualified as a H3 Plane Captain and commenced his career in Naval Aviation Maintenance.
Master Chief Daniels' sea duty assignments include HS-9 at NAS Jacksonville, Fl., embarked aboard USS Nimitz (CVN 68). VA-81, AIMD 1991-1993, Blue Angels, VFA-136 from 1996-1998. Master Chief Daniels completed his sea duty aviation maintenance career as the deployed MMCPO and LCPO on board USS Dwight D. Eisenhower with AIMD.
Ashore, Master Chief Daniels' assignments include AIMD Cecil Field and HSC-28 in Norfolk, VA. He also served as Night Check Maintenance Chief with Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 122 based in Lemoore, CA. Daniels is a graduate of the Navy's Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 138.
Master Chief Daniels was selected as a Command Master Chief (CMC) in 2008 and served as CMC for the "Pukin Dogs," of VFA-143 in Oceana, deployed aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), he most recently served as the CMC for more than 1,400 Sailors, seven squadrons assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 7, also in Oceana.
Master Chief Daniels' personal decorations include one Meritorious Service Medal, five Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, five Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, nine good conduct medals and numberous campaign and unit awards.
