Lieutenant Commander Robbins, Executive Officer NEIC, US Navy

Lieutenant Commander Kelly Robbins is a native of Bayview, Texas where he graduated Clear Creek High School in 1990. He enlisted in the Navy in 1993. After graduating Intelligence Specialist "A" school and Imagery Intelligence school, he completed tours onboard USS NIMITZ (CVN-68) and the Joint Intelligence Center Pacific (JIPAC). While at JICPAC, LCDR Robbins was selected for commissioning through the Seaman to Admiral Program.

Upon graduation from Officer Candidate School in 1998, he was stationed at Training Squadron FOUR (VT-4) in Pensacola, Florida, where he was selected for lateral transfer back into the Intelligence community. Upon graduation from Navy Intelligence Officer Basic Course in 2000, he was assigned to the USS CALR VINSON (CVN-70) where he served as Division Officer/SUPPLOT Watch.

From 2002-2004, LCDR Robbins attended San Diego State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Security and Conflict Resolution. After graduation, he reported to Joint Analysis Center Molesworth, United Kingdom, as the Navy Special Programs Officer and Maritime Branch Chief. From 2007-2009, LCDR Robbins served as the intelligence Senior Watch Officer at United States Fleet Forces Command.

LCDR Robbins served as Intelligence Officer (N2) for Commander, Amphibious Squadron FOUR, embarked on USS KEARSARGE (LHD-3) from 2009-2011. From there he attended the Naval War College, earning his Master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies.

In August 2012, LCDR Robbins assumed his current position as Executive Officer of Navy Expeditionary Intelligence Command.

LCDR Robbins' personal decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards).
