Our research and development efforts in perception and visualization support the development of advanced behaviors for autonomous and semi-autonomous robots operating in complex environments. Research areas include: terrain classification; obstacle detection in adverse environments; intelligent GPS-denied navigation; 3D mapping, modeling, and visualization; and human presence detection.
