SSC Pacific has engaged in research and development on unmanned system autonomy for many years, spanning: autonomous navigation and path planning with and without GPS, obstacle avoidance in complex environments, retro-traverse, multi-story urban exploration and mapping, manipulator control, vehicle stabilization, and more. Application domains include: counter-IED and counter-mine operations, battlefieldĀ logistics automation, urban reconnaissance, maritime security, undersea surveillance, and counter-tunnel.
