 Master Chief Ken R. White, a native of Fairfax, California, grew up in Klamath Falls, Oregon and graduated from Klamath Union High School in June, 1981. He entered the U.S. Navy in October, 1981. He completed basic training at RTC San Diego, California in December, 1981 and went onto Operations Specialist "A" school in Dam Neck, Virginia where he graduated with honors. He completed Operations Specialist "C" school in San Diego, California in September 1984. In July 2001, he graduated from the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Newport, Rhode Island.
Master Chief White has served 22 years on shipboard tours aboard USS PELELIU (LHA 5) as Operations Information Division  work center supervisor; aboard USS CAYUGA (LST 1186) as Operations Information Division Leading Chief Petty Officer; and aboard USS VINCENNES (CG 49), USS BUNKER HILL (CG 52), and USS BOXER (LHD 4) as Operations Department Leading Chief Petty Officer.
Ashore Master Chief White served as the Pacific Fleet Inport Training Liaison ar COMMANDER, TRAINING COMMAND, U.S. PACIFIC FLEET (COMTRAPAC) HEADQUARTERS in San Diego, California.
As Command Master Chief he has served at HELANTISUBRON FOUR (HS-4) in San Diego, California and HELANTISUBRON TEN (HS-10) in San Diego, California, USS PEARL HARBOR (LSD-52), and in May of 2009 he reported to MARITIME EXPEDITIONARY SECURITY SQUADRON 5 (MSRON-5) for his fourth CMC tour.
Master Chief White is currently working on a B.B.A. with emphasis on Human Resources Management from National University. he has earned the Enlisted Surface and Aviation Warfare Specialist qualifications. His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal with one silver star, the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal with two gold stars, Navy Good Conduct Medal with one silver star, Navy Humanitarian Medal and numerous campaign and unit awards.
