Once you have your orders, if you are not aware of the name of your sponsor, contact the COMNECC Sponsor Coordinator for assistance.  We look forward to your arrival, and our priority is to ensure a smooth and successful transition for you and your family

Household Goods

If you are entitled to movement of dependents and household goods, the government will fund such movement to Norfolk, Virginia.  Your current servicing Personnel Support Detachment can provide information on entitlement to Temporary Lodging Expense (TLE).  Be reminded that if eligible, lodging receipts are required for TLE reimbursement. 

Once your household goods have been packed out you can track your household goods shipment electronically if you used SmartWebMove or by contacting the Norfolk Personal Property Inbound Office at (757) 443-1372 or (DSN) 646-1372.

Checking In

You will report to COMNECC at 1575 Gator Blvd (Building 3504), on board Joint Expeditionary Base (JEB) Little Creek-Ft. Story. You are encouraged to report Monday through Friday between the hours of 0900 and 1300 to ensure timely check-in with the local PSD.  Regardless of when you plan to arrive, contact the NECC Sponsor Coordinator in advance, at (757) 462-4316 ext. 396, to obtain specific travel directions and coordinate your report date and time. 

Your uniform when you are reporting is driven by area seasonal requirements (i.e. blues in the fall/winter; whites in the spring/summer); unless you have been previously issued NWU TYPE III, which is uniform of the day for COMNECC.   All personnel reporting to COMNECC will submit a uniform issue request for Type IIIs.  If you know the sizes that you require, you may submit your completed request in advance.  (Email the completed attachment to COMNECC_LTLC_SPONSOR_COOR@navy.mil ).  Once your request is submitted, we will contact you with guidance for delivery.
